Episode 6
"Your Mind Starts Roaming"
Nonouti: Dave, Elyse, Frosti, Gina, Na’Onka, Tom.
Tarawa: Angelia, Matty, Nina, Pete, Shannon.
"Your Mind Starts Roaming"
Nonouti: Dave, Elyse, Frosti, Gina, Na’Onka, Tom.
Tarawa: Angelia, Matty, Nina, Pete, Shannon.
Voiceover – Previously on… Survivor!
We could see Shawn’s torch getting snuffed.
Voiceover – After Shawn was eliminated, Nonouti became a very united family, and they have been doing nothing but get ready for a merge!
Gina (to Tom) – We’re all gonna stay together, but we could make sub-alliances with them, so everyone feels good and together as a tribe.
Confessional Tom - We HAVE to win these next two challenges so we can merge with 6.
Voiceover – And they have been successful so far…!
Na’Onka jumps on place.
Na’Onka – FUCK YES. THAT’S HOW IT’S DONE!
And Dave places the last piece of puzzle.
Jeff Probst – NONOUTI WINS IMMUNITY!
Frosti – Yessss!
Everyone in Nonouti celebrated their victory with Dave, while Tarawa members like Angelia and Matty made sad faces.
Voiceover – They guaranteed themselves to make it to the merge with at least even numbers, while Tarawa were now on the edge of losing their momentum!
Confessional Pete - As far as numbers go, this is bad.
Voiceover – With SPAM in power, Nina and Parvati were on the chopping block…
We could see Nina sort out snails from a bucket with Parvati.
Voiceover – But right before the challenge, Parvati felt like she had enough, and asked her tribe to get voted out!
Shannon – If we lose, you are asking to be voted out?
Parvati – Yes. I am asking to be voted out if we lose.
Angelia just received a massive amount of water on her head, just before another lightning strikes at the Ocean.
Confessional Angelia - She's a little brat. I think that's the perfect word for her: brat. If something doesn't go her way, she stomps around like a four year old. She knows she's screwed... so she wants it to look like she's throwing in the towel.
Voiceover – And the tribe unanimously jumped on board with the plan to vote her out!
That’s three votes Parvati… one vote Shannon…
Jeff put his hand in the urn, and retrieved another vote.
Jeff Probst – And the fifth person voted out of Survivor: Kiribati…
Jeff Probst – Parvati.
We could see Parvati’s tribe get snuffed, and now Nina’s face.
Voiceover – This now leaves Nina all by herself in a tribe… that has one more challenge to win, if they want to keep even numbers at the merge!
Now we could see the entire tribe sitting at tribal council.
Voiceover – Eleven are left… who will be voted out… tonight!?
TARAWA, NIGHT 15
The Tarawa tribe was back to camp during the night. They were laying their torches around. Angelia just smiled at Pete and hugged him.
Confessional Angelia –
Good riddance, Parvati. I basically have all the guys wrapped up around my finger, some more than others. Pete is in my right pocket, Shannon in my left, and Matty in my back. I’m sure that was Parvati’s gameplan, but the fact that it was already taken, being the flirt and all, that kind of left her in an awkward state of just idly floating about. What can I say? I beat her to the punch.

Pete finished the hug.
Confessional Pete –
It was really amusing watching Shannon call her out and provoke her. She got so frustrated that she just completely stopped talking. Even though we hardly talked to her and made references about how our tribe would be better without her in our tribal council answers, Parvati still wished me, Angelia, and Matty good luck and said she was cheering for us at the merge. Our tribe will be much better off now moving forward.

Shannon walked into the shelter, and sat down, rubbing his face and hair in his hands.
Confessional Shannon –
Parvati is a useless chick, dude. Half of the shit she was saying at Tribal Council was a joke. Hahahaha, it just showed how unaware she was of everything going on. She had no fucking idea what was going on. I liked speaking my mind and being blunt and honest about everything. I’m not going to keep quiet anymore or beat around the bush about bullshit. If I need to say something, I’m going to say it. I’m not afraid of anyone or anything in this game.

NONOUTI, DAY 16
It was raining lightly on the Nonouti camp, and most tribe members were resting around, yawning and moving things around. Na’Onka was sitting in the shelter.
Confessional Na'Onka –
We didn’t go to Tribal Council last round which allowed us to lounge around, chill out, do our thing. You know.. keep it cute, keep it fresh. All we did was relax around camp. I feel so comfortable in this game. I managed to get myself another alliance going between me, Tom, and Gina. I feel like us as a threesome alliance will be a strong one.

We could see Tom and Gina fishing in the sea while she would talk about them. Further away, we could see Dave walking up to the tree-mail. He would open the box, and read the tree-mail by himself.
Dave – “A scavenger hunt might fulfill your comfort.”
We could see Dave getting excited, just before we move to the challenge field.
CHALLENGE FIELD
We could see the settlement of the challenge : It was on a very small island, with a palm tree forest on it. There was a clear area in the middle, and there would be just one large yellow crate, and a purple copy of it. Both tribes were rowing to that island with their boat. On the island, Jeff was waiting for them to come.
Jeff Probst – Come on in guys!
We could see Matty disembark a boat, while Nonouti were arriving to their mat. The Tarawa arrived a bit after.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti, take a look at the new Tarawa tribe, Parvati voted out last tribal council!
No reactions from the yellow tribe.
Jeff Probst – You guys ready to get to today’s reward challenge?
Everyone – Yes!
Jeff Probst – For today’s challenge, you each have one crate.
We could see both empty crates.
Jeff Probst – Your goal is to find coconuts, and drop them into it!
We could see coconuts falling into a crate.
Jeff Probst – Those coconuts have been hidden on this island.
We could see different hiding spots for coconuts.
Jeff Probst – You will have one hour to find as many as you can.
Jeff shows a hourglass.
Jeff Probst – At the end of that time, the tribe who will have collected the most coconuts… wins reward!
Everyone gets excited.
Jeff Probst – Wanna know what chu playin’ for?
Everyone – Yes!
Jeff lifted the blanket that covered the reward, revealing lanterns, blankets, and pillows.
Jeff Probst – You are playing for comfort!
Everyone start getting envious of that reward, and they don’t take their eyes away from it.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti, you have one extra member, please sit someone out!
Dave raised his hand and walked away.
Jeff Probst – Dave sitting out for this challenge. Take your spots, we’ll get started!
We could see the island from far away, and then castaways were ready to go.
Jeff Probst – SURVIVORS READY? GO!
All castaways started running and spread to different locations. Jeff flipped the hourglass. We could see Nina looking through the tall grass, while Frosti would be looking up at trees.
Angelia just found a coconut on the ground. While Na'Onka just found the first coconut on the ground as well, Angelia just tossed the first coconut into her tribe’s crate.
Jeff Probst – Tarawa just coming back with their first coconut!
Na'Onka just tossed her coconut as well.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti with their first coconut!
Angelia was running back to the forest, this time looking through ferns and grass, along with Pete who was looking up at trees. He just found one, but now he had to climb on the tree. Frosti just found one, but he helped Na'Onka climb the tree.
We could see the time running faster, with plenty of people dropping coconuts into the crates. We could see the crate of Tarawa getting filled with a bunch of coconuts, and then yellow’s crate being filled with a bunch of coconuts as well. Forty minutes had been elapsed already.
Pete just ran back with a coconut and tossed it into his tribe’s crate. Gina and Tom were now both looking one the shore, under water.
Tom – I’ve been looking everywhere for coconuts.
Gina – They are hidden pretty well.
All of a sudden, Gina just seemed to have felt something on her feet, and when she looked down, she just found a grap of four coconuts attached together. She immediately grabbed it and started running back to the crate.
Jeff Probst – Gina coming back with a bunch of coconuts! You still have fifteen minutes to find more! We are pretty even now!
We could see that both crates seemed to have the same approximative amount.
The castaways were still running back and forth, dropping coconuts into the crates. Tom just found one attached to a tree, so he had to untie the knots.
Jeff Probst – Sixty seconds left!
Shannon just ran back with a coconut and dropped it in the crate, followed by Gina who brought another one again. They both ran back to the forest, where we could see everyone looking all over the place with their eyes, but not finding anything. We could see a hidden coconut under a large rock, but no one were seeing it. The sun was at its peak.
Jeff Probst – Five…
We could see Shannon finding a coconut.
Jeff Probst – Four…
Shannon was running back.
Jeff Probst – Three…
He almost fell but got his balance back.
Jeff Probst – Two…
He tossed it but failed to put it into the crate. He kept running.
Jeff Probst – One…
He picked the coconut.
Jeff Probst – DONE!
Not arriving at time, he left the coconut behind. Both tribes were now ready for results. Jeff was bending over the crates, counting them, one by one… We could see the time elapsing, and Jeff was just done counting Tarawa’s.
Jeff Probst – Tarawa have found 32 coconuts total. Nonouti need 33 to win.
Jeff started counting them, and after time had elapsed, he came up with the results.
Jeff Probst – 29 for Nonouti… so TARAWA WINS REWARD!
Matty – YAY!
Matty joined his group for the group hug.
Nina – Good job folks!
Nonouti sighed, and Jeff was already giving away the comfort items to Tarawa.
Jeff Probst – This is what you earned… comfort! Nonouti, I have nothing for you, grab stuff, and head back to camp!
Dave shook his head.
Confessional Dave –
God. These people are so horrible at challenges. I swear to god, if I played in this reward challenge, we would have won. Fuck these people.
God. These people are so horrible at challenges. I swear to god, if I played in this reward challenge, we would have won. Fuck these people.
Gina just smiled on her way back to camp.
Confessional Gina –
The reward challenge was really cool. The coconuts were hidden in interesting and exciting ways. I thought it was really clever. I wish I knew how many coconuts there were or in what other cool places they were hidden!

TARAWA, DAY 16
We could see the sea of Kiribati, just before the Tarawa tribe would arrive at camp with their comfort items in hands. Pete was carrying the blankets on his shoulders, with the help of Angelia.
Confessional Pete –
Angelia and I are continuing to bond and coordinated the reward challenge for the tribe. We split up the places to look for the coconuts and ended up finding more than the other tribe had combined. The two of us are really at the center of SPAM and our tribe overall because we're around and talk the most. We have so much potential together as shown by this reward challenge.

Once they arrived at camp, they dropped the blankets into the shelter. Angelia helped him place the blankets.
Confessional Angelia –
We won the Reward! Yaaaay! *Waves her hands with excitement.* It really does boost morale and puts you in a happier, confident state before the next challenge. I’ve been dying for some pillows, throw pillows, and some blankets! With how much it rains out here, it leaves it really cold at night, and we’ve had to rely on eachother’s body heat. But now, with blankets, we’ll get good night sleeps and not be shivering from dusk until dawn. That was probably one of the top, if not the top reward to get.

Shannon and Matty both placed the pillows inside the shelter, while Nina would be placing the two lanterns at camp.
Confessional Shannon –
We got a sick ass reward. We got comfort in the form of blankets and pillows, so now our shelter is five stars and we’re living a life of luxury out here. Out of all the rewards this season so far, I think that Tarawa got the better of the bunch. We don’t play around when it comes to Reward because if we know it’s good, we go for it. If it’s not something we need or really care for, then we don’t push ourselves as hard. For example, last round’s Reward. Nonouti must suck at camp so they needed the tarp more than we did. We do fine day by day at camp and get all our crap done. But now that we have comfort, we’ll be set until merge.

NONOUTI, DAY 16
Two beetles were battling it out on a leaf, as the Nonouti tribe had just came back to camp empty-handed. Na’Onka was the first one to sit down on the shelter, taking a breath before drinking in her canteen of water.
Confessional Na'Onka –
We suck at Reward challenges. They don’t care to try at Reward challenges as much as Immunity challenges. The problem with that is we NEED to win Reward challenges. They are just as important as Immunity.. maybe not as much but still important.. Everyone at Nonouti is lazy as HELL. So now Tarawa is walking away with pillows and blankets and we’re left with no comfort. It just pisses me off seeing how happy Purps’ was grabbing at them pillows and jumping up and down after they won.

Instead of joining Na’Onka at the shelter, Gina and Tom were talking on the beach.
Gina – The merge is going to be really soon.
Tom – I’m not all that worried to be honest. WE have a backup plan if we lose. And if we win, we can annihilate the tarawhales.
Gina – Yes. Harpoon those bitches.
Tom – Aww yeah.
Gina – So I talked with Nay like we mentioned when we were talking about forming groups to strengthen us.
Tom – Great!
Gina – And she is totally down with allying up with me and you!
Tom – That’s awesome!
Gina – I told her I would confirm with you.
Tom – Of course! And I’ll talk to her obviously. That’s great news!
Gina – Yes!
Tom smiles.
Confessional Gina –
I am in a top secret final two alliance with DAVE. We are going to the final two together. I didn't want him in my other alliances with Tom and Nay. We each want to be in the same alliance, but be in separate sub-alliances, so that if trouble comes, one of us hears about it. Tom is playing this game very hard. I will let him think he is controlling me and this tribe while Dave and I have the true power behind the scenes.

Gina – I didn’t mention Dave in that group yet, but maybe we can add that in soon.
We could see Dave gathering water at the water well.
Tom – Hopefully, but it can still be us three. If things go right, even to the final 3!
Gina – Yeah!
Tom – I feel like us 3 are evenly matched. That’d be a great final 3.
Gina – Definitely. So I think she’d be down…
Na’Onka was still sitting in the shelter, and was looking at their conversation but couldn’t hear anything. She seemed to be trying to understand what they talk about, in discretion.
Confessional Na'Onka –
When you sit back and look at everyone and think about everyone’s positions, your mind starts roaming about possible things that could be going on. Last time I did this, I came to think that Tom was aligned or had some sort of deal with everyone.. and I still kind of think that. Boo is in the best spot out of us.

Gina – Did you get a chance to talk with her or Dave?
Tom – No, I haven’t. I will though.
Gina – Okay!
After finishing their conversation, a wave just hit the shore, and Tom was now talking with Dave in the forest.
Tom – So, did Gina talk to you about an alliance at all?
Dave – Yeah. A little bit. I know us three are good. Is Frosti going to be in on it too? Or Na’Onka?
Tom – We were thinking Nay.
Dave – Okay.
Tom – Gina’s already talked to Nay about it.
Dave – That sounds good with me.
Tom – And so have I. So, us four?
Dave – Yeah, that Is great then. I like her better. And we just gotta keep Frosti and Elyse close.
We could see Elyse and Frosti doing their tribe work while he would talk about them.
Tom – For sure.
Dave – So we can use them to vote with us for now.
Tom – Mhm.
Dave – But be a tight four.
Tom – As long as they think they have control they’ll be okay.
Dave – I almost hope we merge at 9! Just in case.
Tom – Same here. Yeah. That’d be nice.
Dave – We would just need to get through that one vote. And we would be half the people.
Tom – Mhm. It’d be amazing. And in case things go wrong, I think we could try and swing over Nina.
Dave – That sounds good to me.
All of a sudden, a chicken sound could be heard, and it ran right by Dave.
Dave – Oh my god, chicken! Get it! Get it!
Tom – Horray!
They both ran after it, but it kept fleeing.
Dave – We need Frosti!
Tom – I will hunt him down!
Frosti just came by.
Dave – GRAB IT FROSTI! GRAB IT FROSTI!
Frosti was running at the chicken as well, but no success. Tom could see Elyse through the trees.
Tom – Oh my god, she’s there!
Dave – Tell her to capture the chicken!
While Dave would be following the chicken, Tom would be running at Elyse. He was yelling at her so she could hear.
Tom – Can you help capture the chicken!?
Elyse looked through trees and could see Dave running after a chicken. She got ready to capture. Tom and Frosti moved back and helped Dave to make the chicken run towards Elyse. She crawled down to not be seen, and as soon as the chicken passed by, she grabbed it by the neck.
Tom – Great!
All three of them were excited to capture that chicken, and they were walking back to camp to cook it.
Dave – We got chicken!
The next thing we could see was the tribe eating their chicken, piece by piece. Na’Onka just put a piece of chicken in her mouth.
Dave – Mmmmm!
Dave looked over the cauldron to see what’s left of the chicken. There wasn’t much left. Na’Onka sighed before mashing with her teeth again.
Confessional Na'Onka –
I just keep growing hate for Dave. I just DON’T LIKE HIM. Just looking at him makes me angry. The way he talks, the way he walks, the way he breathes. I could go on and on ya’ll. I hate him. He doesn’t know it and no one else knows it. I do a pretty dang good job of keeping my pokerface. I smile and laugh at all of Dave’s stupid ass jokes and comments but as soon as he turns his back to me I’m plotting his demise in my head.

Tom just swallowed the last piece of his meal and looked at his tribe.
Tom – Let’s win this challenge, k?
Frosti nodded and responded with his mouth full.
Frosti – Ya, it’s kinda big.
CHALLENGE FIELD
We could see the challenge settlement : It was on the beach of an island. There were two flags (one purple, one yellow) planted in the sand, along with three wooden treasure chests around each flag. Nearby, Jeff was waiting on the tribes to come.
Jeff Probst – Come on in guys!
Both tribes were coming from the palm tree forests, in direction of their tribal mat. They stepped on it and waited for Jeff to make the first call.
Jeff Probst – You guys ready for today’s challenge?
Everyone – Yeah!
Jeff Probst – First thing first, I’ll take it back…
Jeff walked towards Gina, who was carrying the immunity idol. He took it from her and put it back to its original spot.
Jeff Probst – Immmunity is back up for grabs!
He touched the idol with his hand.
Jeff Probst – For today’s challenge, it’s very simple : You both have three wooden chest.
We could see each of the three wooden treasure chests.
Jeff Probst – Your goal is to dig…
We could see four people digging into the sand with their hands like crazy.
Jeff Probst – A hole big enough….
We could see a big enough hole.
Jeff Probst – To drop your wooden treasure chest into it.
We could see two people pushing a treasure chest into the hole.
Jeff Probst – First tribe to burry all three wooden chests…
We could see all three chests disappear one at a time.
Jeff Probst – And with everyone touching the flag…
We could see five people touching a flag.
Jeff Probst – …wins Immunity!
Jeff touched the immunity idol again.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti, you have one extra member, please sit someone out. Cannot be the same people as back to back challenges! Dave has to participate.
Tom raised his hand.
Tom – Nay is sitting out.
Na’Onka nodded and walked away from her team.
Jeff Probst – Na’Onka sitting out for Nonouti… Get your spots, we’ll get started!
The clouds moved at a faster pace, and we could see the sun at its stronger peak. Everyone were ready for the challenge to begin.
Jeff Probst – SURVIVORS READY? GO!
Both tribes ran to their wooden chests. They immediately got into digging. We could see all Nonouti members digging at the same place, while Tarawa would split to start their three holes at the same time.
Jeff Probst – We have just begun, and we have three different strategies going on!
Dave was digging, while Shannon was throwing sand away.
Jeff Probst – To win this challenge, you will have to dig deep!
Gina – PA-GONGING here we come!!
Gina kept digging harder.
Jeff Probst – You can’t just make a sand mountain on top of your chest… that chest has to be UNDER the ground level!
The hole of Nonouti was progressing very well, and the three holes of Tarawa were not progressing much.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti with a lot of progress! Tarawa going no where.
Tom was rushing to the first chest, and him and Frosti were pushing it.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti think they’ve finished their hole!
They pushed the chest into the hole.
Tom – Someone should just do the filling in while the others go ahead on number two!
Gina stayed to fill the sand in, while the rest of her tribe mates were getting ready to make a new hole. We could see Nina getting tired, and just sit down to take a breath.
Jeff Probst – Come on, Tarawa, pick it up!
They started digging together on the same hole. Gina just finished filling in the first chest, and she moved to the other hole they were almost done with.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti have one chest done! Two more!
Tarawa think they finished their hole, and Angelia started pushing on the chest with Shannon. Once it drops into the hole, they realize they didn’t dig deep enough.
Jeff Probst – Tarawa’s hole is not big enough! Gotta keep digging!
They worked together to put the chest back on the ground, and continued digging. Pete and Matty left the group to dig on the other two holes.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti are done with their second hole!
Dave and Frosti pushed the chest into the hole, and moved to a new hole, while Gina would stay to fill the hole with sand. Shannon looked over.
Shannon – They have two chests done. Most likely about to finish.
Angelia – Nothing we can do. No point in dreading over it.
Gina just finished filling the hole.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti has another one! One more! Tarawa, what are you doing?
We could see that Tarawa were back to working on their three holes at the same time. Gina looked over to them.
Gina – What is going on with Tarawa?
Tom – You mean the Tarawhales?
Gina – Did they get beached?
Tom – That’s my guess.
Pete just stopped digging, and laid down on the beach for a moment to recover energy. Nonouti were almost done on their last hole.
Jeff Probst – Nonouti right on the edge of winning!
Matty just stopped digging, and all other Tarawa members turned into watching. Frosti and Tom just pushed the chest into the hole, and all together, they filled that hole.
Tom – DONE!
Frosti – YAY!
They were screaming their victory while running to the flag. Tom touched the flag.
Tom – We finished!
Frosti was the last one to touch the flag.
Jeff Probst – NONOUTI WINS IMMUNITY!
All Nonouti were yelling their victory, while Tarawa were remaining silent, slowly getting up, cleaning the dirt off their clothes, and walking back to their mat. Once they were all back to their mat, Jeff was handing immunity to Tom.
Jeff Probst – Well earned, none of you are going home tomorrow night!
Tom took the idol.
Jeff Probst – Tarawa, can’t say the same thing, one of you is going home tomorrow night! Grab stuff and head back to camp!
The tribe started gathering their belongings, like Shannon.
Confessional Shannon –
I’m really pissed off. There’s so much on the line. Pete blanks out five minutes in. Dude, what the hell is your problem? Man up.
If this is his way of trying to look like a weakling, then he’s doing a good job. Don’t be a pussy, dude. I really feel that Matty wanted to lose to get Nina out, and that Pete wanted to throw it so that Nina would go. It wasn’t smart to lose and it fucks all our games up. Who cares what Nonouti thinks, just fight and then maybe we’d win and we wouldn’t be as much in trouble like we are now. The other guys in the alliance are just shrugging it off like it’s no big deal. If we merge next round with four people, and they have their large numbers, I will tell you this right now… I will make sure Pete or Matty go first. Merge is going to be a shitstorm.

We could see Pete and Matty walking while he would talk about them.
NONOUTI, DAY 17
We could see the Nonouti yellow flag, waiting on the tribe to arrive at camp. Dave just arrived with the immunity idol, and put it down.
Confessional Dave –
My tribe finally picked it up and we won the final tribe challenge. I'm very glad.
My tribe finally picked it up and we won the final tribe challenge. I'm very glad.
Frosti – YAY!
Dave – YAY, going into the final ten! 6-4!
All tribe members were smiling their victory.
Frosti walked away with Elyse to take a walk with her.
Frosti – We got numbers for the merge!
Elyse – Yeah I’m happy about that.
Frosti – Ya, I hope we all stick together and just wipe em’ out haha.
Elyse – Yeah we all really should just go to the final six.
Confessional Elyse –
Now we have a majority in the merge and it should be an easy road to the final 6. I just can't figure out why Tarawa didn't even seem to be trying. They can't feel too good being in the minority right now

Tom joined them immediately.
Tom – We think the tara-whales just got beached.
Elyse – I wonder why they didn’t even try.
Tom – No idea, but it helps us so I don’t care.
Elyse laughs.
Elyse – Yeah.
Tom – We could easily get to the final 6 from here!
Elyse – Yeah, I hope so!
Tom – Me too.
Tom smiled, and it was the end of their conversation. Na’Onka was at camp, snapping at a coconut with her machete.
Confessional Na'Onka –
Was it wrong that I was kind of rooting that we would lose the challenge? Oh my god ya’ll, seriously. In my head I was wanting to kind of lose because a) I was sitting out b) Elyse needs to go because she sucks and c) I wanted Dave to lose us a challenge while he was competition. But that didn’t happen. Instead we won so I just rolled my eyes and then shook my head and staged a smile.

We could see Na’Onka drinking into her coconut before it changed camp.
TARAWA, DAY 17
We could feel the defeated tribe atmosphere when we could see the tribe flag, waiting on the tribe to arrive at camp. The tribe was back, and left their belongings here and there, remaining really silent. Angelia just put her bag in the shelter.
Confessional Angelia –
That was just awful. That was the worst challenge performance by us by far. I don’t even know what the deal was. We decided to try a technique where we dug in all three holes at the same time so we’d go through them quickly. Personally, I didn’t really like the technique. There was nothing we could do as Nonouti ran leaps and bounds over us.

Pete just drank in his canteen of water, refreshing himself.
Confessional Pete –
When it was time for the immunity challenge, I knew how important it would be to win for our tribe going forward and enter the merge at least tied. It's a huge disappointment that we lost. I'm not the reason we're entering the merge with the minority. Matty didn't do anything, and Nina was hardly a help either.

Nina just walked away from the group, and she walked alone on a narrow path of the Kiribati forest.
Confessional Nina –
Basically, I think that my luck has ran out. I started the game strong and with conviction, but I feel drained by now. I am dragging in challenges and my social game has fallen off the rader. I don’t know what to do right now. I doubt they’d keep an old broad like me over people like Shannon and Matty who seem to be going all out so far.

We could see her sit down on a large rock, rubbing her wrinkled face with her hands. The sun was at its peak now.
TARAWA, DAY 18
With the level of sun, we could feel that it was almost time to go to tribal council. We could see a bunch of ants leaving their anthill, just before the SPAM alliance were meeting each other. Angelia was the last one to arrive to the group.
Confessional Angelia –
There wasn’t really a need to talk or even discuss what we were doing. On Tarawa, there’s SPAM, and there’s Nina. If you look at Pete or Matty as alternative boots, it’d be dumb to get rid of them and keep Nina. We’re all in an alliance and the loyalty is strong. If we’re going to be down in numbers, we need to have a bulletproof group gong into the merge. Nina would be a huge crack in a merge and if Nonouti found out about it, we’d be done.

Angelia - Everyone ready for Nina to go?
Matty laughs and smiles.
Matty - Obviously and FINALLY!
Confessional Angelia –
I don’t trust Nina whatsoever. Nina knows she’s been bottom of the totem pole since Cochran was voted out of the game. So did Parvati, and that’s why Parvati self-destructed and basically laid down her torch. If Nina flips, it’s probably a disaster beyond repair.

Pete - Yeah, it's time for Nina to go. We managed to get SPAM to the final four on Tarawa, but we have our work cut out for us at the merge.
Shannon - It's her own fault for isolating herself, not talking, and never really branching out. This is her consequence: being voted out.
Confessional Shannon –
The vote is a done deal and Nina is going home tonight. Sucks to be her but it’s her own fault. I approached her in the first round of this game to get an alliance going, to bring in strong players like Angelia and Pete, and she shot it down. She implied one of the two or both were shady and couldn’t be trusted, so here she is, in a situation like this. People who turn down alliances never make it far in the game of Survivor, and Nina will go down as further proof of this. Here she is eating up the consequences.

Pete nodded.
Confessional Pete –
Nina's going home tonight. I fully trust everyone on SPAM will stay loyal and that we'll have a group of people who are together. That was the whole point of this alliance in the first place. Nina hasn't been very social lately. She isn't talking to anyone or trying to strategize right now, so I think that she realizes it's her time to go. She had the chance to form an alliance with me off the bat but kept backtracking, and then she stopped talking strategize and fell into the minority. So it's her fault for leaving this vote.

We could see a bee gathering pollen off a plant, just before Angelia would be walking alone in the forest. Shannon was sneaking up behind her. He covered her eyes.
Shannon – Guess who.
Angelia – Shaaannonnn.
Shannon – Haha, good job.
Angelia – Yesterday was awful, wasn’t it?
Shannon – It was.
Angelia – I really don’t know what the deal was. I kind of feel like everyone just semi-threw it unconsciously.
Shannon – Or consciously.
Angelia – You think Pete and Matty intentionally wanted to lose?
Shannon – Matty hates Nina.
Angelia – I don’t get that though, because now if we merge, we’re screwed.
Angelia – Well, any way you look at it, we’re screwed, we’ll only have four. Whether to their six now, or their five if we win immunity next round.
Shannon – Nothing we can do about it now.
Angelia – Oh well, Nina can go. She would’ve probably flipped or done some dirty stuff anyways.
Shannon – I could see her flipping.
We could see Nina innnocently walking around while he would talk about her.
Shannon – I’m just happy Parvati isn’t around anymore. She would’ve been a more dangerous flipper.
Angelia – Me too. I saw that one hundred percent, which is why I kind of liked that she basically gave up. It was the perfect excuse.
Shannon – So now, if we merge, we just need to work our asses off, get some flippers to help us out and survive a vote. SPAM can do that shit. We’ll survive.
Angelia – I hope sooo. It’ll suck if we picked off one by one because of all of this.
Shannon – I won’t let you go anywhere.
Angelia – Aww, thank you Shannon.
Shannon – No problem, baby.
Both of them split and walked two different paths, and we could see other tribe mates like Matty and Pete, gathering their belongings to leave for tribal council. The sky was now orange. Nina just grabbed her torch, and the group was now walking in direction of tribal council.
Confessional Nina –
I am old enough to know when my time is up, Survivor has been a great experience, but I don’t think I am going to be able to make it to the merge. I am not naïve, that’s not the kind of bitch I am, I am wise and I am strong. I am not going to give up, but anyone my age knows when there’s only so much you can do… Now, there’s to hoping I am wrong and my journey has not come to an end.

TRIBAL COUNCIL
The orange sky turned black, and we could see the tribal council from an aerial view. The Tarawa tribe were walking on the pond in one straight line with their torches. Nina was upfront, and she entered tribal council followed by Pete. Angelia just put her torch on a hold, right after Matty. Jeff was looking at them placing their torches until Pete sat down last.
Jeff Probst – Pete, last tribal, you talked about this tribe being a happier family after the vote, does that still stay true today?
Pete – Yes, I think we’re a much happier family now that Parvati’s gone. Just her attitude was bringing the whole atmosphere of the tribe down.
Angelia nodded.
Jeff Probst – I see that you guys came strong at the reward challenge, Angelia, you guys got yourself comfort, how relieving is that?
Angelia – Soo relieving, Jeff! We worked really hard at that Reward Challenge. We needed to bounce back hard. The comfort at comp now is great, and I’m sure I can say on the behalf of everyone when I see that the fleeping conditions are ten timers better than they were before.
Shannon looked back at Jeff.
Jeff Probst – That was a great win, but then you lost the immunity challenge. Shannon, had you guys won this challenge, you would have been even at the merge against Nonouti, so I’m guessing you must have been very determined, so what happened?
Shannon – I can’t really tell you that, Jeff. We had a gameplan in the challenge, not everyone’s heads were in the game. Nonouti had the focus we didn’t and we ended up losing because of it.
Angelia listened.
Jeff Probst – Angelia, if you guys merge next round, you officially lost the numbers… how does that make you feel?
Angelia – Overwhelmed.. nervous.. scared.. I mean, the list is endless. We’ll lose a number tonight, which would make the numbers 6-4 in a merge. That’s really bad for Tarawa. The only glimmer of hope we have right now is the possibility that there’s a crack or something we can take advantage of in Nonouti’s members.
Jeff Probst – Talking about cracks, Shannon, what do you think might be the cracks of Nonouti?
Shannon – Every tribe has a bottom of the barrel player, you know, someone who the others don’t value, or someone who’s just an outsider. Cochran was one of those for example for us. Nonouti has to have a weak link in their chain.
Jeff Probst – Who do you think it might be?
Shannon – Based off of who I see do work in competitions and the way they interact at challenges, maybe Elyse or Frosti.
Jeff Probst – What angles are you guys going to play at the merge? You step on their island, what’s the first thing you do?
Shannon laughs.
Shannon – What makes this their island, Jeff? Don’t count us out just yet. We’ll work something out. First, we need to scope out their personalities and move from there.
Nina nodded.
Jeff Probst – Nina, if you guys stick together, how much do you think people in this tribe will trust each other?
Nina – I honestly think that we don’t have any option than to stick together at this point. Like, we all get along at this point.
We could see Matty listening to her.
Nina – And I don’t think we have anyone particularly sneaky. And either way, like Shannon was saying, there is always a bottom dueler that might be willing to make a move and improve their position.
Angelia looked back at Jeff.
Jeff Probst – Angelia, if Nonouti has the intention to annihilate you, who do you think might be the biggest target among you guys?
Angelia – Oh, that’s easy. That tile-smashing challenge made it clear who Nonouti sees as the biggest threat on our tribe, and they believe it’s Pete, which is why they took him out first, just like all of us took Tom out first.
Pete looked back at Jeff.
Jeff Probst - Pete, if you're the first target, how can you defend yourself from that?
Pete - If the 6 of them all stay together and I'm their target, then the only way I even have a chance is immunity. But it's still a lost cause if there isn't a crack because I'd be gone the first time I didn't win a challenge. So what I'd have to do would be try as hard as possible to find a crack in Nonouti like Angelia brought up earlier.
Jeff Probst – Do you guys regret any votes so far?
Pete – No, I don’t regret any of the votes. Cochran didn’t do a lot of work around camp, and he didn’t do much talking or attempt to strategize with most us the round he left. Parvati asked to be voted out. I think both votes were the right choices.
Jeff Probst – And tonight, how are you going to make your decision?
Pete – This vote is basically a group decision based on who’s been the least helpful as of late.
Nina makes a sad face.
Jeff Probst – Nina, what’s that face?
Nina – Well, I mean… I am suddenly swamped so I mean, obviously I am worried since I know my worth the past few rounds has been going down and down more.
Jeff Probst – Nina, only four of you an make it to the merge, so why should you make it to the merge over the four others?
Nina – I think Pete, Angelia and Shannon deserve to make it over me.
Matty raises his eye brows.
Nina – In all honesty, they are by far the strongest members, so I can’t make a case against them. But I think that compared to Matty, I work around camp harder. Matty hasn’t been much help.
Angelia was looking over.
Jeff Probst – Angelia, between Nina and Matty, what are the pros and cons of voting them out?
Angelia – I think for me, what it comes down to, is who I feel the most comfortable with. We’ve been on these tribes 18 days or so, and since we’re already low in numbers, and going into a merge situation where we’re outnumbered… you need to go in with people you talk to, and can come to trust because you’ve already built some sort of talking, or friendly relationship.
Nina took a breath.
Angelia – I can see where Nina is coming from, but if it’s a merge we’re going into, it extends far past that, and it turns into a more social aspect of the game.
Jeff Probst – Alright, we’ll find out who will make it and who won’t… It is… time to vote! Nina, you’re up!
Nina stood up and walked to the voting podium, writing down Matty. She put the vote in the urn, and Matty was next to vote, writing down Nina back. Shannon and Pete both walked to the voting podium, followed by Angelia who bends her vote, and put it in the urn before walking back to her seat. Jeff was ready to go.
Jeff Probst – I’ll tally the votes…
While Jeff was gone tallying votes, we could see Matty scratching his knee and Nina looking at Jeff coming back with the votes.
Jeff Probst – Once the votes are read, person voted out will be asked to leave tribal council immediately… I’ll read the votes…
Jeff Probst – First vote…
Nina
1 Nina.
Nina nodded.
Matty
1 Nina, 1 Matty.
Matty looked at Nina, then looked back at Jeff.
Nina
2 Nina, 1 Matty.
Nina got ready to grab her bag…
Jeff Probst – And the sixth person voted out of Survivor: Kiribati…
Nina
Nina stood up.
Nina – I really hope you guys can kick some ass, I’ll be rooting for all of you. Go get them!
Pete – Bye Nina, sorry!
Nina just put her torch in front of Jeff.
Jeff Probst – Nina, tribe has spoken!
He swooshed Nina’s torch, and after her fire was gone, she walked away from tribal council. Jeff looked at the group.
Jeff Probst – You are now down to four… And I think you know how much work you have to put in to get yourself out of this tricky situation. Grab torches, head back to camp!
All tribe members stood up, and took their torches with them when leaving.
FINAL WORDS
Final Words Nina –
I am somewhat sad to go home tonight, but I understand their decision. I just wish I could have made the merge. I guess things like this happen though, I am fine with their decision. I just wish things had been different.

VOTES
While Nina was telling her final words, we could see who everyone voted for.
Angelia – Nina.
Pete – Nina.
Matty – Nina.
Nina – Matty.
Shannon – Nina.
